As we approach the end of the 2025-26 school and fiscal year, I urge you to invest in our city’s future. When you look at Baltimore’s landscape, you see a community rich in history, resilience, and untapped potential. But to build a stronger, more vibrant tomorrow, we have to start with the foundation of our community: our children.
This month we launch our fiscal-year-end fundraising campaign: BUILD the Blueprint for a Better Baltimore. It’s a message that is simple, urgent, and deeply deliberate. Behind every great city reshaping its future is the promise of the children who will one day lead it.
When architects design a blueprint, they are creating a master plan for a structure to withstand the test of time. At the Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore (CSFB), we believe that educational equity and connecting children with schools that unlock their individual potential are the building blocks of that master plan. It is the ultimate foundation on which they can build their dreams, goals, financial independence, and future leadership.
But a blueprint is just a piece of paper until someone steps up to fund the construction.
Our generous donors give throughout the year to ensure that the vital work we do remains steady and uninterrupted. It is because of this ongoing, dedicated support from individuals and partners across our community that we are able to provide a reliable lifeline to our families with scholarship funds. Every gift is a direct investment in a child’s potential.
