Giving parents a choice
Giving children a chance

Recently named by Philanthropy magazine as one of the best current charitable investments people will be talking about a century from today.

The Children's Scholarship Fund of Baltimore provides partial tuition assistance for low-income families to send their children to private schools of their choosing.

Since our inception, the lives of 116,000 children across the United States have been changed for the better by CSF scholarships worth $443 million.

We support children from kindergarten through eighth grade

  • Currently we are helping about 175 students attend over 60 private and parochial schools in and around Baltimore. The tuition average is below $6,600/year.

  • All our scholarships are below $2,000; parents choose the schools and pay the remaining tuition.

  • Recipient families are selected at random; academic requirements are set by the schools.
