Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore (CSF Baltimore) provides privately-funded, partial scholarships for children from lower-income Baltimore families, to help them attend schools their parents choose.  We support children from kindergarten through eighth grade.

• As of Spring 2009, over 500 students attend 71 private and parochial schools in and around Baltimore, whose tuition averages $5,839/year.
   

• Our average scholarship is $1,798; parents choose the schools and pay the remaining tuition.

• Recipient families are selected at random; academic requirements are set by the schools.
   

• All scholarship donations are matched dollar for dollar, through the generosity of the Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF) and the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation.
