CSFB supports school choice in Grade K – 8 but, did you know, we also guide our families when it comes to choosing a high school?

Last week, we hosted our High School Choice seminar.  Led by former CSFB Trustee and education consultant Jamila Sams of Go To Ms. Sams and current Trustee Valerie Grays, Student Life Advisor in the office of Student Life and Engagement at BCCC. The seminar focused on both preparing for admission and what to consider when selecting a high school. The seminar covered both the public and private school processes and was enriched by a panel of students who discussed their journeys from middle school through the high school choice selection process.  Kirby Gaddy, Assistant Director, Annual Giving at University of Maryland Baltimore also joined presenters to discuss financial aid.

We know many families could not attend the seminar – click here to watch the presentation and share this link with others who might benefit from this expert guidance.

What we do know is that whether our students move on to a Baltimore City Public School or continue on the private school track, they graduate at a rate of over 97%. School choice empowers families and significantly improves educational outcomes.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday.  We are grateful for your continued funding and support of our program.
