We are so enjoying all the 20th-year stories that our CSFB scholars, alumni and parents have been sending in. We especially appreciate the ones from families who’ve had multiple children participate in our program. CSFB accepts all siblings in each family, keeping families supported together.

The Smiley sisters, for example, are CSFB alumni. Both girls worked hard in school and were recognized with multiple awards and honors for their scholastic achievements. Today, these inspiring young women have graduated from high school and are continuing their academic endeavors in college!

For many years, my children were recipients of Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore scholarships and we were very appreciative for all of the assistance given us. It is because of this amazing program and the support we were offered that their educational process was successful as well as attainable. It allowed me to help keep my girls in the private sector. They both attended Mother Mary Lange Catholic School and Cardinal Shehan Middle School where they graduated with Honors, certificates, medals and Presidential Citations.”

Amber is graduating with a dual degree in Biology/Pre-Med and Public Health in May 2019. She plans to become a pediatrician. Jasmine will graduate in 2022 and hopes to become an anesthesiologist. We are so proud of these CSFB alumni!

Another special CSFB family is the Matthews family. This mom is thrilled to keep her children together in a safe and encouraging educational environment. She loves how her children are supported by the school they attended.

I am fortunate to receive a CSFB scholarship and have my children, my precious jewels, receive a great education in a safe and clean environment where teachers and the whole school staff are supportive of the standards that I have set for my kids.”

We love hearing about all of the families who have been able to keep their children together for school. Has CSFB helped to keep your family educated together? Let us know! We’d love to hear how we may have helped! And remember to follow hashtags #CSFBis20 and #CelebrateCSFB to see more of our 20th-year celebrations!
