CSFB Staff News

Spring is in the air, and with it is the anticipation of new things to come! Read on for some exciting CSFB staff news and budding changes happening this spring:

A Letter From CSFB Chairperson Elizabeth Green

Spring Break is in the air and our schools and students are busy with year-end projects. At CSFB, spring is a busy time for families reenrolling in our program for the next school year. It is also an exciting time as we work to welcome and onboard new families into our program. I am writing to share an update about a leadership change.

After 9 years, our Executive Director Beth Harbinson has made the decision to leave her role to spend more time with her grandchildren and pursue volunteer work in the community she loves – Howard County. She will continue with us through our search for the next Executive Director and assist with the transition.

We are grateful to many of you for your support and want to assure you that this leadership change will be smooth for our schools and the families and students we serve.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Green, Chair

Mrs. Sanders Writes a Book!

CSFB’s Program Administrator Joanne Sanders – who will celebrate 20 years with us this May – is also an author. She recently published “Mommy, Mommy, What is Gratitude?” a heartwarming story about a little girl named Hope who learns about the magic power of love through giving to others.

You can order “Mommy, Mommy, What is Gratitude?” through JayMedia in both paperback and hardcover. And graciously, Ms. Sanders will donate a percentage of the proceeds from purchases in April to support our work at CSFB.
